For a love hotel, the aesthetic is not too sketchy. it felt pretty equatorial. I like that I could have a drink brought up to my room 24/7. The staff is friendly (at least the one I met). The sound isolation is decent, I only heard cleaning noise in the near room in the morning, though I'm unsure if I had neighbors. The room is spacious and the ceiling high. It's a change from usual Japanese hotel rooms. I appreciate the wooden vibes. The AC is strong so the room cools down and warms up pretty fast. Amazing black out windows at night. No bad smell. a little Jacuzzi. I recommend if you have hard time dealing with tiny hotel rooms in Japan and don't mind taking taking back and forth.

Norio was a great host.
Norio was a great host. His house was very clean and he made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. He was very generous and cooked us lovely breakfasts each morning. The house is in a good location, close to Nara and Kyoto.
