Everything is the same as shown in the picture. The staff and their services were nice. The accomodation is spacious for me as solo traveller and it even have refrigerator, washing machine and microwave.

The facility was centrally located. The owners and staff were very accommodating. We were able to communicate adequately even though they didn't speak English and we didn't speak Japanese. The onsens were super clean and the water was toasty. We were impressed with our experience and would not hesitate to stay at the Takaraya again if we ever return to Kotohira.
