A unique experience to stay in a temple. A bit isolated, but worth staying the night. We also did the sutra Writing session and just wandering around the property and garden was amazing.

Hotel location is near River and mountain so it is very peaceful and quiet. The bedroom is Japanese style and the common area so big with full amenities. The toilet was inside room but the bathroom separate outside to the room. Host cannot speak English but they appreciate to help and guide you. The Breakfast is made by host, it was delicious and varieties. We spend 3 day and hope to come again. We recommend to use personal car.

100 years old family home with a beautiful Japanese garden, 2 minutes walk to a quiet beach. The bikes to get around and to the train station. The house can get cold at night but there are heating options and the futons were warm and comfy. Drinking tea while watching the garden was perfect
