We were at an event at the stadium which was walking distance from the hotel. The locals are helpful if you get lost. There's plenty of 7/11 shops to buy food from if you don't like the hotel breakfasts. There's a monument to visit and the train station has the Bullet train links to Ueno where you get on the "underground" style service into the city.

Definitely check out D'z racing cafe.
Definitely check out D'z racing cafe. The shop is a must stop at if you are a fan of Initial D, cars, or just want a quick bite to eat. Also check out the many "onsen" and the shrines that they have there.

The city wasn't so rural.
The city wasn't so rural. It could give vibe of metropolitan area as i wanted. Neither crowded nor sparse. I felt like there weren't enough branches of cheap eating chains. So we ended up having dinner at quite more expensive restaurant than we would usually do.
Great facilities and staff. Breakfast was delicious and with plenty of options (even for vegetarians. Vegans might have it harder, though). Loved all the complimentary extras: noodles, popsicles… And kudos to their efforts towards reducing plastic waste regarding the amenities. The location was excellent for sightseeing, close to Takasaki St. and a couple of bus stops. The staff kept our luggage for us even after check-out.
We liked everything about this hotel, which is located right on top practically of the Takasaki Train Station. It is clearly a hotel targeting businesspeople. The breakfast offerings were abundant and diverse, Western and Asian. There was a coin
self-service laundry which we used - and had not expected. Our room was small. Bed was very comfortable.
The hotel very near to Takasaki station and we can walk through the sky bridge from the station direct to hotel. Very safe area and plenty of shopping store also department store, easy to find something to eat even late at night. Hotel so clean and staffs very friendly and helpful. My room is big enough. Location Location Location, the hotel is just up from the JR station and within a shopping mall.
Across the road there is also shopping malls and big supermarket.
Staff are extremly welcoming and the room is modern and clean.
They do offer breakfast and buffet lunch but we didn't have time to try.
The hostel was less than a ten-minute walk from Takasaki Station. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of different foods. For a weekend with breakfast included, it was reasonably priced. I packed very lightly and was happy that toiletries and pajamas (yukata) were included.
Beautiful, quiet location, it was nice to be away from the cities. The home cooked dinner was exceptional and a real highlight for our group - do not skip it! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Takasaki area or passing through, even if for just 1 night.
Very convenient location, just right across the bridge from the JR train station and near food & convenience stores. Hotel is slightly old, but comfortable. I appreciate the free self service lockers for baggage storage after check out.
The hotel is right across from the train station - perfect even with luggage, easy to find location. The staff were so helpful and friendly. We had a nice room, bed was comfortable, it was all very cozy and the hotel was quiet.
The staff were very kind. I received a very beautiful Mt. Fuji 3D Post Card from them. I liked the breakfast, that there is parking and the location too. Takasaki Station is a 9-minute walk away.
The room was small but clean and functional. I liked that the women’s public bath was open until late, and they gave a code to get in for security purposes. The hotel breakfast was also very good.
Your hotel is very clean.
The location is good and convenient.
Small gifts are here and there which is very nice.
I would like to recommend your hotel to my friends.
The hotel was in a very convenient location and is very accessible to Takasaki Station. There's a lot of convenient stores & restaurants around. The room was clean.
It is a quality business hotel. Breakfast is simple, and the japanese public bath is really relaxing. We have a enjoyable and comfortable stay in this hotel
