The hotel was ok but on arrival we paid 200 pesos more than it was listed on booking because of service charges. Afterwards I noticed it was mentioned in the email after making reservations however I believe such misleading should not happen. If I knew the final price from beginning I could choose cheaper or nicer place.

Nice Colonial town with a nice central plaza and Mercado to get a nice affordable meal all day. Quiet and apart from the Sumidero tour not much else to do except buy trinkets up and down the old arcade stores.

Nice access to an affordable tour of Cañón del Sumidero that picks you up and drops you off at the hotel. There are not a ton of options in terms of food in the town, so having the restaurant there was ideal, though it does close at 3. The weekend brunch buffet was a pretty good deal all in all. Great location minutes away from Sumidero Canyon tour and ten mins from both of Tuxtla Gutiérrez (with a good commercial centre nearby) and Chiapa de Corzo. Abel was very helpful and friendly.

As well,the restaurant is situated on an upper level terrace which overlooks the garden. These are the best and most memorable features of the hotel.
