3-4km drive to Huasca town, quiet place. Lots of place to park car. Easy to spot the hotel since it's just right beside the main road. Water pressure is good, hot water for bath is good. Very helpful receptionist, as she helped to boil hot drinking water upon our requested.

San Miguel Regla and the surrounding landscapes and sights...

San Miguel Regla and the surrounding landscapes and sights are well worth for going. We would have liked to hike some more in the countryside, but we had our children with us, so that limited us in the hiking bit, as the hiking could be challenging we could see. BUT the landscapes WOW, so fantastic, especially the canyons, mountains, forests and more. The nearby sights and towns were also beautiful. We were though not so enamored with the pueblo magico called Mineral/Real del Chico, as the standard for a pueblo magico in this instance were pretty low. No need to there, but go to all the other pueblos in the area and the prismos basalticos and the canyon and and.........:-) And please go and eat at Pizzeria Cosmo (I think), one of the best places in Mexico to have a pizza certainly, but also for all the other dishes, that they serve and the desserts......:-)
