Petaling Jaya (or PJ as it’s known locally) has only existed since the 1950s and is linked to its more famous neighbour by buses, Kelana Jaya trains and several highways, one of which is spanned by the Kota Darul Ehsan Arch.
Although the 2 cities now form one huge urban sprawl, their boundary runs by several parks, one encompassing Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club. Monkeys roam free in Bukit Gasing Forest Park, and Kelana Jaya Lake is another leafy spot.
