We absolutely loved how quirky and fun this place was. From the steep stair case to the potted plants, to the cute cats.
The host was very welcoming, helpful, entertaining and interesting.
The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast delicious and fresh.
Location was just what we wanted, outside the city & more peaceful.
We had our own bikes and enjoyed cycling into Amsterdam, it took approx. 30 mins.
Would definitely reccomend to stay here and wished we could have stayed longer.
We look forward to reading the book!
Just a 15-minute drive from both Schiphol Airport and Amsterdam, this hotel offers spacious rooms and Junior Art Suites. The A9 highway is 8 minutes by car.

Very comfortable and spacious room that was spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Friendly and helpful staff. The location is great as it is 5 minutes walk to the tram station. The coffee machine in the room was refilled every day plus it was so helpful having a small fridge to store cold products in. The area is very quiet and we had a lovely view over the garden and canal.

Amstelveen is a lovely wee place but being only 20 mins by car from Amsterdam centre you’ll want to go there. Amstelveen has local shops and amenities needed but there’s not a great deal to do in the area and not within walking distance.

I will write about my Room , I booked and paid for a studio XXL . They gave me room no. 013 . I think the room 013 is only XL and not XXL . Kindly check with them and your files . If they gave me only studio XL ,instead of XXL ,then I want a refund for the extra price I paid .
Thank you.

The hotel was conveniently located near a tram station. It was an easy ride into town. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
The neighborhood is quiet. About a 10 minute walk down the street is a strip mall with some restaurants. We tried the kabob place while waiting to check in. It wasn't too bad. There is also a coffeeshop/gelato shop located there. That' the best part of the mall.

Very convenient location close to the airport with bus transportation right outside the property gates. Amstelveen looked like a lovely little town. Unfortunately we arrived late at night and had to leave first thing in the morning so did not have the opportunity to check out the area, restaurants, and night life.

You hardly see the next recommendation: walk up to the Kalfjeslaan and turn right, walking eastward (look it up on Google maps).
Walk all the way to the Amstel river and where you hit the river turn right (or have a cup of coffee and a portion "bitterballen" before you go on at the Kleine Kalfje =Small Calf), walk along the river and enjoy this typically Dutch landscape. Turn right at Machineweg MP until you hit Amstelveen again. This is a wonderful walk with sun or drizzle, not that much when it is raining.
We went there for 3 nights and we had a good time there. If you except to face with 5 star hotel rooms, so please don't go there, its not a hotel, but if you want to be in somewhere quiet and clean in the nature near Amsterdam with reasonable price, then go there. There are some rooms which have private bathroom and kitchen but we booked for shared bathroom room ones, and found its bathrooms new and clean. With public transport you can reach easily to city centre. It has camp site for camper-vans, and there is parking lots as well.
I was in Amsterdam on business. I really appreciated the great Wi-Fi and how quiet the room was. The entire hotel was modern with modern amenities. The hotel was near tram 25 which worked well for where I needed to go to work (Amsterdam Zuid area). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Cost was reasonable. It was all in all perfect for my needs, and I would recommend to anyone traveling on business.
Excellent trip, drove from UK, though Eurotunnel into France, through Belgium and then into Netherlands. Parking a breeze at hotel. 28EUR for 2/3 day public transport card. 40 mins into Amsterdam Central. Remember to check out on the public transport as our cards stopped working on day 3. We also took advantage of one of the free ferries from Amsterdam Central to NSFR Wharf. 15 min journey each way.
worth the price! located in amstelveen in the nice neighborhood, took around 30 minutes by bus and metro from amsterdam central station. bus station is literally walking distance and the schedule is quite frequent. the room itself is very clean and tidy. staffs are friendly and helpful. will definitely choose this accommodation again when going back to amsterdam!
Quietness of location - there is a big park and a canal where people run or bike along.
Personnel was amiable and friendly.
Room was big enough for us.
Parking at 15 euro per day compared to Amsterdam where it can reach even 50 euro per day.
Breakfast was enough for us - ham, cheese, pastries, omelette/eggs, coffee, etc.
I would stay again in this hotel.
It is easy to get to the hotel by bus from the airport. The hotel has a great location if you want to go for a run in the Amsterdamse Bos during a long layover. It was possible to do an earlier check-in and the lunch tasted good. It's easy to get to the city center by public transport from the hotel.
very nice and clean hotel.
the location in Amstelveen about 30 mins from Central Station and the city center but you can find many transportations to get there.
good breakfast.
you will find many restaurants and supermarkets around.
the owner and his wife are very decent and cooperative .
Compare to money I wouldn't recommend this hotel because they don't have a single bottle water in the room. This hotel location in Amstelveen because of that Amsterdam daily transport ticket not usable in this area buses. If you stay there just use your credit card for transportation
Great room, very clean and spacious, with a fully furnished kitchen ( very convenient), friendly, helpful and smiling staff. Great location too, a short bus ride from the airport and a short tram ride to the centre ( the tram almost outside the hotel). I would love to go back!
a very nice stay, very quiet and nice little breakfasts and drinks. The tram is close to get to Zuid then a transfer to another tram was easy and very fast (30 min) to get into the Center of Amsterdam, nice to relax a bit while getting back to hotel after a day out!
Breakfast was great and personally served at the table. Hostess was very kind and helpful.
Free car parking in front of the hotel.
Bus stop is 5-7 min walk away.
Winkelcentrum Amstelveen is very closeby if you want a quite bite for dinner.
Very well organised check-in and check-out, appoachable staff on reception, reasonable hotel position on tram 5/25 (25 from Amsterdam Zuid train station, 5 from Amsterdam Centraal). Very good AC - very useful during hot weather.
Very friendly staff, brand new hotel, close to public transport, nice bikes to rent, very special capsule hotel experience, with private bathroom and toilet. much cheaper than other hotels in Amsterdam.
New, modern clean and good location for us wanting to be in Amstelveen, but also fine for hopping into Amsterdam or beyond.
Rooms are spacious and well equipped.
Good facilities in the building.
It is located outside of the Amsterdam region. If you like a quiet peaceful environment it is best place for you having lot of parking places, area for cycling, and children play ground!
