The female owner is really friendly and provided helpful hints where to have dinner nearby or where to go out for a walk. We got a map of the "Loonse en Drunense Duinen", a natural reserve which is worth a visit. At a Sunday or national holiday, however, it is recommendable to arrive up to 10 am because because both biker and liker are fond of these area. "Hoeve de Mertel" has a small shop where own products and cheese from local producers are sold.

I really liked the facilities, the rooms were beautiful and the staff was super nice and helpful. The location is amazing and the view from my room was superb. The common areas in the hotel were also very cozy and welcoming. The bed and pillows chosen were super comfortable and there was a lot of storage space in the room. The plant a tree and coupon initiative relating to the frequency of room cleaning was a pleasant surprise and I think it is an amazing initiative.

City Hotel Tilburg is located in the city centre, across from The Heuvel city square with fountains and terraces. The most important shopping street, the Heuvelstraat, ends here.

The breakfast was very good, and the room was cute and cozy. Just what we needed for one night. Nice view of the plaza and good water pressure.

Quiet. Beautiful pine forest and stunning inland dune landscape close by. Super friendly staff and a good line of choices for beers (tap and bottle) at the bar. Nice place to sit outside in the evening. There is also a common room inside the building. We have enjoyed our stay.
