The location was nice. I has a room over looking the harbour. The room was clean and big. Coffee and fruit available to guests all day. Restaurant was nice, with great food and friendly staff. Room has AC unit, controlled by guests. Nice. Nice breakfast. Five minute walk to town. All in all, I’d stay again.

The host served us hot soup when we arrived, which was amazing. Invited us to a campfire on second night. Lovely with the kids. But wait, that's nothing. We broke our car 30 minutes away from the BnB, with two kids, in the middle of nowhere. How many host would have kindly pick us at 21:00 ? They offered and did, without hesitating a second. Let us stayed extra hours the day after as we picked a replacement car from a garage. Best host in town, in the Netherlands, and probably on Earth ! <3
We found a lovely outdoor playground which or kids loved.
We found a lovely outdoor playground which or kids loved. Beach was disappointing. The museum is fantastic!!! Restaurants were a bit hard to find in the evenings so we've ended up eating in the hotel.

The city is quite beautiful in general, but one or the other place could be more cared for. There are not too many restaurants.
The place falls short of its possibilities, nevertheless it is a beautiful harbour town.
We came by train and the location was right across, convenient. Near the grocery stores etc, also near the water for nature walk. Staff is friendly and professional, room is clean, beds are comfortable. Be prepared that it is an older place and the rooms are smaller then average hotel rooms, but not a problem if you plan to sleep there and not spend much time in the room. Also be prepared that the restaurant at the hotel closes early evening, again not a problem there's other places nearby, but good to know to be prepared
The staff was very helpful, and the location is great (near the sea, which is about 300 meters away). The wifi works perfectly and you can prepare your own breakfast/dinner in the (large) kitchen. There are fresh towels every day.
The place is exactly as advertised: a good location to spend a few nights if you're out a lot (for work or otherwise). It is clearly a guesthouse and not a top-notch hotel, so you (should) know what to expect.
The staff was very nice and service-minded. Breakfast was good. The restaurant was very good. The food was fantastic and good wines were available to choose - we found it was so good that we ate there every night. The hotel is located "in the water" and we had a great view from the room towards the North Sea. The outside pub was also great, but some days of our stay a little bit to windy.
Location is very convenient. I always stay at this hotel when travelling for work and I haven't had a bad experience yet. The restaurant also provides plenty of choices to be able to enjoy your dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Staff is always friendly.
For breakfast is good but you have to pay extra.
Breakfast was amazing. She is one of those super hosts who take great care to ensure her guests have a
pleasant stay. She calls her place her palace, which indeed it is, adorned with mainly African artifacts. I would recommend the palace if you want an enjoyable and interesting stay in Delfzijl.
The location is picturesque, well located in Delfzijl, with parking spaces in the yard. The room was very large, equipped with everything. The host is very, very kind. The hearty, fresh breakfast was topped off with sandwiches for the job.
The hotel is in a unique location and has a great view. Good to reach by car. Good for a night or two. Did not make a fuzz about the fact I booked the wrong date for our stay. After a quick call with booking.com the date was corrected.
The location is wonderful for a person like me who likes the sea and tidal landscapes. The hotel appears a bit tired. The staff was great. The breakfast was good, and again the view was its greatest asset.
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant waiter was also extremely friendly and the whole atmosphere was very relaxed. The staff was extra friendly also to our dog.
