Hotel Brasserie de Kroon, hotel in Noorbeek

Hotel Brasserie de Kroon is situated in the center of the friendly village Gulpen, at the market square and next to the small river ‘de Gulp’. The rooms are modern decorated.

Staff and reception were fine, our very spatious room was on the top (3rd) floor under the roof with 3 large windows (with blinds). We found a fridge, a TV, a sofa and a table. All the sanitary facilities worked nicely. The hotel / restaurant has a very nice terrace where you can drink after your (our) walk. Breakfast was good, served at the table (no buffet), but enough to choose from. All in all a good price for the offering!

It is a very peaceful town, several villages in a row. I can see somewhat different life styles of Dutch people in terms of houses and surroundings, which is a good experience in traveling corners of Netherlands.

We were there only for an overnight stay, but it looks like a very beautiful old town centre with very friendly and helpful locals. Also the hilly surroundings are inviting for another longer stay in Noorbeek with another purpose.

The location was excellent and so was the house and its facilities ,very clean. The owners live on site and were welcoming and helpful and were happy for you to get on with your holiday. Loved visiting Maastricht and Gulpen was handy for shopping having a good supply of local shops and supermarkets also a friendly and helpful Vets Surgery if you are travelling with your pet from the Uk for their Pet Passport requirements . We also enjoyed a day trip in Cologne. The area is great for walking and seemed to be just as good for cyclists.

Although already 5 years in service, the place looks brand new. Good taste. It's a bit trendy but generally stays practical. The self-check-in system is OK for a hotel with only 4 rooms. You get a phone call later in the afternoon to check whether everything went fine. Very considerate. Good mattresses and pillows. Good breakfast. Great surroundings. Very good value for money.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful small town, super clean, beautiful design, great breakfast. Keep in mind it's self-checkin, so there is no staff in a hotel for most of the time, except for breakfast.
