Great location, easy to access and get to other locations. Eventhough it was on the highway, you didn't hear the traffic.

The room was very nice, with comfortable furniture (especially the leather sofa across from TV) and great view. Complimentary teas and coffee of course are always a nice addition. Hotel is located very close to train station and within walking distance from city center, surrounded by big roads however sound isolation is impeccable.

Visually the room and the hotel itself were a marvel. Chandeliers, paintings, wooden floors, you could practically feel the history. The staff was very nice and helpful and we had a lovely view of the canal.

Friendly staff and their helpfulness all of the time,...
Friendly staff and their helpfulness all of the time, especially over restaurant bookings.
Comfortable and large room with great bed.
Need to improve tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms.
Keukenhof beautiful tulip displays were wonderful - a good six hours to see everything. UNIQUE ! Keukenhof is only half an hour away from the hotel.
Pleasant coastal journeys in this location, from Leiden to Harlem.
Hotel on dual carriageway - a very convenient location for quick travel when needed.
Nice big room and nice balcony, breakfast was also good with a comfy bed, but it was difficult to find Uber (almost impossible), better to use a bicycle (rental is available) to the train station, and also better to buy groceries before coming back to the hotel since nothing around, though nice and quiet neighborhood.
The Van der Valk was a beautiful hotel in Sissenheim . The bedroom was stylish and felt brand new. It was immaculately clean .
The meals we had were delicious and all the staff we met were exceptionally polite and welcoming.
It is in a perfect location to explore the tulip region, local lakes and beaches.
Would be great if king or queen size beds are provided instead single beds. Although the quality of single beds were comfy, you will end up sleeping only in one position due to the lifetime of the mattresses. The only thing that could be improved by the hotel.
Hotel was decent. Arrived just in time to get dinner before the kitchen closed and burger was good. Didn't get chance to use the gym or facilities but games room was great. Location just off the motorway was super handy too.
Beautiful hotel close to the tulip gardens. Suite was amazing. Huge room with living space and dining space. Very large bathroom and outdoor terrace. Beds were so comfortable. Coffee maker in room was a plus!
I loved the decor, the terrific restaurant, and morning breakfasts! It was so special to have e-bikes delivered to the hotel for our journey to The Keukenhof, which was a convenient ride from the hotel.
This hotel can create good atmosphere with candles etc. A lot people from outside but you don't feel discomfort.
Very good reception work.
3 times at this hotel and all very professional.
Fabulous private location in a lovely part of The Netherlands. Every detail of the Lodge was well-planned with high-quality materials. A cozy beautiful place! The breakfast was amazing!
very big room, wonderful bed, very good food in both restaurants. Very central position for visiting the area around during tulips season. Train station very closed with free parking.
Location was great, though in outskirts of Amsterdam.
Sizeable rooms and great showers (Deluxe rooms are very nice)
Nice breakfast spread and conferencing facilities.
Nothing, the hotel would not return the money to me after I made a mistake on dates, we stayed there on the correct dates so I ended up paying twice, appalling!
