Lovely house, very beautiful vintage decorated rooms, lovely cozy feeling, very comfortable beds, like marshmellows, lovely host.And a delicious breakfast, totally recommend it. Also very beautiful surroundings, 10 minutes walk to the city center, museums and a nice 11 minutes bus ride from the city center (bus 70) to old Giethoorn location.There you can walk along the beautiful canal, admire the beautiful houses, visit the Oude Museum and eat a tasty meal at one of the restaurants along the canal route.You can also ride a boat if you like.Overall, we had a perfect weekend and perfect sunny weather on Saturday.Thank you for the memories 🙂

This is a quiet little town with enough charm for a single night, but no more. All the people are friendly and English-speaking. When one of the restaurants was closed, the owner directed us to another one where they informed us the kitchen was closing within 11 minutes and asked us to expedite our order, which was nice to know so we didn't go hungry. The dining room overlooked an enticing garden area. It's the ideal romantic getaway, and in fact there was a newly married Dutch couple among the guests. Our host served a bountiful, tasty breakfast, and was so very helpful in giving advice about Giethoorn (thank you Jaap!), as well as being accommodating about check-in and check-out instructions. I would come back again and again.
