worst hotel, the staff (especially the hotel manager Valentino) were very rude and not helpful at all, I had children under 1 year old and they charged for the children but the rooms were the same as everyone else's. No cot. The staff was Islamophobic. You did not receive any information that you would book breakfast upon check-in. After that the breakfast was limited and when something ran out they didn't refill.
Featuring free Wi-Fi and a restaurant, Manzo's Suites offers the first boutique hotel in Zaandam. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant, terrace and bar.

A nice area, clean and well kept.
A nice area, clean and well kept. Easy transport links into the city and to other nearby towns.
Enjoyed a visit to the windmill area, which was a cultural experience, lots to do.
Found eating a task, only because we wanted more traditional, national food, which we found hard to come by.

The Russian Tzar House is a must visit.
The Russian Tzar House is a must visit. It is the oldest house in Netherlands, preserved in very good conditions. You will learn a lot. The Zaan Museum also. The Zaanse Schans it is for one whole day or two days visit. A lot of museums. It is very nice. And if it is good wind you are going to smell only chocolate in the air. The bakery just in front of the bridge is having the most delicious patisserie. The restaurants around have great food, nice personnel.

There's a lovely canal with shops & restaurants on either side. You have a choice of fast food, healthier options or traditional Dutch dishes. The area is quiet at night, when the day trippers have left. It's a pretty town with interesting architectural styles. It was my first visit & I will be back. It's easy to travel by train to Amsterdam & other destinations & trains are fairly frequent. My hotel was within easy walking distance of the station & the shops mentioned above. The Albert Heijn supermarket is open 7 days a week until 10pm.
I stayed for 6 nights with my family of 2 kids. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, full equipped kitchen, living room with TV and audio. Demian and Agata live next door, easy to get connected in case needed. My kids are big fan of the cottage. Location wise is very good, 2 stops away from Amsterdam Centraal by Intercity or Sprinter. Zaandam itself is a very good neighbourhood to bring kids. Close to Dekamart, Albert Heijn and Zaandam city center. Our stay in Holland has been memorable!
Beautiful views of the windmills from your bedroom. Comfortable beds, nice updated bathrooms. Quaint dining room/living space where you get your breakfast and beautiful courtyards on the water. Easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants and market. The host was beyond friendly! So quiet and peaceful, truly the most amazing and unique experience. A way better option than staying in the city plus the train station is only a 15 min walk.
Location is perfect, 2 minutes from train station , and you can get to Amsterdam central in 13 minutes by train , there is supermarket in the front of the hotel and so many shops where you can find everything, also there are many restaurants around the hotel , just few mints. Rooms are clean, no many facilities, but it is good value for the money .
Also room has very good city view.
Breakfast reasonably priced during week and had excellent variety.
Loved the location. We were in Zaandam, which was one station away from Amsterdam. But it was an interesting, quiet little town. We enjoyed getting to know Zaandam.
The hotel was new and comfortable. The staff always had smiles and good answers to our questions.
The train station was also very convenient for us.
Everything was perfect about this hotel especially for the value. Zaandam is such a nice cute little place. You are a 10 min walk from Zaandam station then 10 min train into central Amsterdam and tickets are dirt cheap too. Hotel was clean, the bed was super comfy, staff were always on hand to help and there was free hot drinks in the lounge! Highly recommend
Really nice location in a cool little square surrounded by restaurants. Nice calm spot away from central Amsterdam, but easy to get there (10 minute walk then 10 minutes on a very regular train).
Rooms were modern, light, comfortable, and very clean.
There's no reception desk but the staff in the attached restaurant were very helpful when we needed it.
The hotel itself is located in the perfect place - just 5 minutes by walk to Zaandam train station. Also, you can get pretty much everything in a grocery store almost across the street. The rooms were quite comfy (despite some issues I mentioned below), personnel was always supportive and smiling.
We had a fantastic and restful weekend in Zaandam at the Zaan Hotel. It is in easy walking distance to all the major attractions, and the train station. Our room was super comfortable, with a fantastic shower! There were plenty of places to eat or get groceries and picnic in the vicinity.
The staff was very kind and professional. The location was awesome. There were a lot of bars and restaurants nearby that we could walk to. The train station was our main use of transportation and it helped that it was close to the hotel especially after a long day of walking.
Much cheaper alternative than staying in Amsterdam, Zaandam is quite a nice town and only 2 stops on the train from central Amsterdam. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very nice. Hotel is next to some nice cafes and restaurants and a nice shopping centre.
Super easy links to bus and metro to travel into Amsterdam and beyond. The reception staff were really polite and cheerful. A big thank you to the housekeeping team - our room on arrival was immaculate! I'd definitely recommend this hotel.
The hotel was in a great location, easy to reach Zaandam center by foot. Also, Amsterdam is easily reachable by taxi or by train. I believe the value for money is great compared with other hotels from the Amsterdam area.
This is a well-located hotel in Zaandam, close to train station and just two stops away from Central Amsterdam. Easy access to train station and many cafes, supermarket and shops in the area.
Zaan hotel is very well located near to the railway station at walking distance 1km from the city centre.
The city centre is a must see, with a large pedestrian area along the canals.
