It is a beautiful cabin on a farm, with a well kitted kitchen, and a comfy bed. I am rather tall and thought that it would be a problem because the bed is kind of like a bunk bed, but it was just right. The location is breathtaking and satisfied our need to disconnect from the city life, but is also a great place to explore. By car, Bergen is just over an hour away and Voss is 45 minutes away. I would highly recommend a car, as the train station is quite a bit of distance from the farm. Also the host is very nice and showed us the old farm house that dates back a long time.

The owner is a very friendly and generous guy. On the first day he showed us the path to the fjord. A beach where you can enjoy swimming and fishing. On the large terrace there is a heated jacuzzi where you can sit until the sun goes down. The house is spacious and clean. Equipped with all amenities. There is a barbecue that we used. We had been to Voss before, in various seasons. It is a vast region with many different ski options, rivers and trails. This lovely classical cabin is tucked away in between two rivers running through its plot. From inside the cabin we overlooked waterfalls and stunning mountain slopes and peaks (1100-1400m).
