We had a lovely 2 night stay here. This is probably one of our top 5 favorite places we have stayed out of 100s of places over 2 years of traveling. Definitely the best place we stayed in Norway. It was a beautiful and comfortable home, thoughtfully designed, very well fitted out, with comfy beds and a good kitchen to cook in. Our host was so lovely and welcoming, and we really appreciated the fresh baked bread! We also loved Bleik, the hike up Matind, and the local store which had pretty much everything you need to cook up some dinner (and great milkshakes!) 100% recommend, and we hope we can return one day!

The two-bedroom apartment was roomy. The bedroom with the two single beds had its own sink. The shower was good (steady temperature, good pressure, good enclosure), though it took a while to warm up. There was an iron and mini-ironing board. The staff were friendly and helpful, and even carried a suitcase up to the second floor for us. The location was quiet. Though we could hear noise from the hallway in our kitchen/sitting area, I could not hear any hallway noise in the master bedroom with the bedroom door shut. The chocolates left on the table for us were appreciated. There was a ping-pong table and pool tables in the common area, though we were too busy to use them. This place caters to people who want to go ocean fishing, though we did not do that either. (We did a puffin cruise and also drove the scenic route as an easy daytrip, etc). There is easy, free parking.
