To clarify some of the reviews, this place is a well equipped camping/hiking hut, not a 5* luxury apartment. It's a small cabin, but with everything you need to make your meals, a TV with chrome cast, wifi and even a little dishwasher and heated floors in the bathroom. As far as cabins go, it's excellent for two adults and is nice and close to beautiful hiking spots.

we loved the preheated room. It felt like we were warmly welcomed. Almost the whole experience was fine except for two things.
The day we arrived. The warm water stopped coming and there was only cold water that day. Because of that we were not able to take a shower.
2nd thing there were no bed covers available for free of cost and the bed's mattresses were extremely smelly and there was dirt sitting on them.
Therefore we had to buy some of the bed sheets. The rest of the stuff went pretty fine.
The Good thing what we did;
We cleaned the whole house just because we thought it might be a must.
But right afterwards we realised it wasn't necessary at all.
All and all Thumbs up 👍.

We stayed at Nystuen on our way to the Vestland Fjords and our only regret is that we did not stay longer! Place is beautiful, well furnished and very confortable, view is stunning, location is very peaceful... and our host was really nice and responsive!!! Thanks a lot

The host made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Cosy, rustic hut with a nice common area with a fireplace. Tasty and filling breakfast with bread, various yoghurts, cereal, warm rolls, waffles and boiled eggs. Delicious coffee and juices. For dinner we had a lovely lasagne together with a fresh salad and home baked focaccia followed by a divine chocolate cake served with coffee. Dinner time was adjusted to fit our return from a longer hike - this was truly appreciated. Great service all way through. Can't wait to be back at a later occasion.

We were lucky to be almost the only ones in the hotel. The reception was closed on the day we arrived, but self check in was very easy if you follow the instructions. The kitchen was well equipped. After reading other reviews I knew exactly what to expect and was not disappointed. Yes, the beds could have been more comfortable or longer (beds are not suited for very tall people of 2 m height), yes, the accommodation might be in need for some refreshing, but the price performance is great if you are in need for one night layover with family.
There was a bit of a trouble with self checkout, but the property was easily reachable with a call to sort the issue out.

We were stranded because our car was broken. Very fast booking possible and a very kind contact to the host per mail and telephone. We could make fire in the chimney. Had a big kitchen with everything you need and an ofen. Because of side season we had the hole camp site for ourselves.
