Absolutely loved my stay at Trevarefabrikken!
The room was cool, and I adored the concept of turning a fabric into a hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, genuine, and went above and beyond to assist. The vibe was spot on.
Wednesday's yoga class was a highlight with a talented instructor and breathtaking views from the yoga room.
Breakfast was a delightful Norwegian spread, well-presented and with a great variety. Service during breakfast was top-notch.
Can't wait to return, fingers crossed for some sauna time next visit!

What i like most about Henningsvær is the mountains and the fishermenn were there boats laying very fascinating towards the mountain. The people very approachable and we've been to one store name engelskbrygge if i'm not mistaken or kiramikk making glasses. She was very nice i asked her what is Henningsvær why a lot of tourists people from other countries visit this place. She explained to me on why, due to mountais, old town, the fish hanging all over the place is fascinating, football field and around that place, the rocks is very special, the waves from the ocean, the fishermann boats laying straight to the mountain, small village but full of life. This place is easy to get around.

Very nice town, small but with amazing views.
Very nice town, small but with amazing views. The harbour is great with its view on the very high mountain. They have a unique football stadium built on the rocky island and some very nice shops and cafes.

Recommend the hike up Festvågtind, but it is steep and not for inexperienced hikers. If you look around you might find the street artist Pøbel's work "Pipe smoking fisherman" on one of the silos. Has its own community for climbers.

Henningsvær is as close as you can get to a traditional Norwegian fishing village. We stayed in a "rorbu" (traditional fishermans cabin, modernized to standard of today) and Henningsvær was a perfect base for our stay in Lofoten. We stayed at Fiskekrogen Rorbuer, which was great.
The village has several good restaurants, serving both traditional Norwegian food (you must try stockfish, which is the very base of trade in Henningsvær) and other food as well. Really recommend the Fiskekrogen Restaurant (yes, same as the rorbu in our case). Other cool places is the Klatrekafeen (The Climbing Cafe), which even had a super vibrant DJ one evening and the party hit the roof!! Other cool places, especially for younger people is the Trevarefabrikken, which is both a cafe and a cool place to spend the evening. They even have their own Trevarefestival, a festival with cool music during the summer.
In addition you will find cozy shops and cafes scattered around.
You really MUST go for a fishing-trip with one of the fishing boats. We went with the traditional fishingboat Kveldsol and Captain Håvard. He speaks very good English and knows about the good fishing spots. Don't worry about being cold. Håvard provides warm and cozy survival suits for everybody. All of us got fish, and we cooked our own 8 kg cod in the evening. Unforgettable! We even spotted the sea eagle!

Henningsvær, in my opinion, is one of the best places to stay while visiting Lofoten. You have a small town with valuable amenities and some great restaurants. Plus it is beautiful, charming and the locals were very friendly to us!

Really nice small town, visit the light house, glass factory, Cousy nice shops for gifts, really nice to walk around the village with typical Norwegian houses, sea view. Couple of great restaurant with great views.
The place is beautiful, cozy, well decorated and very clean. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The location is also beautiful. I never stay in places with shared bathrooms, but I'd been recommended this one and it surely didn't bother me too share the very clean bathroom with only the 2 guests of one other room. Would totally stay here again, if I ever visit henningsvær in the future.
This "rorbu" (=fishermans cabin, renovated for modern use) was located in the very middle of Henningsvær. We used this as a base for our stay in Lofoten. The host, Leif, was extremely service minded and met all our expectations. In addition, he was often around when we left and when we returned, so we could ask him for advice or help at any time. Fiskekrogen was an important piece of a very successful Lofoten-trip!
Booked this rorbu last minute and so glad that we did. It is located at the tip and we had an awesome view. It was just cosy and cute and most importantly clean. The bedroom is in a separate room from the kitchen, which is a great plus because the clothes don't get all smelly with the cooking. The girls at the reception were so helpful and sweet. We definitely recommend staying here when in Henningsvær.
The service and the cleaning in the rooms and open spaces was very nice. The lobby is so cozy and you can sit outside and enjoy a beer at the docks with a beautiful view of Henningsvær . The tea and coffee is always available for the guest for free. The decoration is very pretty. Also, you can borrow bikes for free wich is a nice way to explore the village. We enjoyed the stay a lot!
Cozy unit with a bedroom and living/dining/kitchen area. No balcony, but harbor view from the living/dining area. Free parking for hotel guests is available. Kitchen seems well equipped, but we went out for dinner so have not used it.
A short walk from a nice viewpoint, and a nice restaurant nearby where we had dinner. The hotel also has a restaurant, but we have not tried it.
I have been in Norway for 2 weeks and have been staying at a new hotel every night. But this, by far, was the nicest place.
Very friendly staff, small little town. I enjoyed my stay
The included breakfast was not a buffet but very nicely laid on a reserved table for me. Loved that treatment.
Would definitely comeback to this town to stay here
The design was very charming. Self check in was easy to figure out how to get in. Great location. Nice hot water, and soap and towels were provided. Wifi was very very good. This was probably the best wifi we had in northern Norway. Had a small oven and stove, with utensils and dishes. Nice refrigerator. Really cute place overall.
the hotel is super nice. clean, cozy, beautiful. the lady at the reception is super nice. the breakfast in the morning is not big but is enough and tasteful. asked a room with a view, and I had one. beautiful view to the harbor. it was not cheap (felt a little overpriced) but I guess everything in Lofoten is.
The view is absolutely stunning. The apartment is really beautiful, everything was just perfect. I highly recommend this place for a perfect stay in the Lofoten islands! The little town of Henningsvær was also really nice, and everything is in a walking distance from this apartment.
Amazing views, just overwhelmingly beautiful and allowed privacy to be enraptured by the beauty of the Norway. Facilities and room were excellent and modern. The decor was perfect for setting. The staff were extremely responsive and helpful.
it was perfectly fine, clean and comfortable and suited us well for what we needed for 1 night and definitely one of the best value hotels in town, the walk to the main centre was easy
The staff is very nice and helpful, it's located in a lovely spot on the water line in Henningsvar, the food is very good and its a beautiful and cosy hotel to stay at.
