We had slight handling problems in the apartment in the bathroom and kitchen. These were immediately repaired professionally. Staff is very dog friendly and always available.
Apartment very modern, spacious and in a quiet residential area. only 5 min to the forest and 15 min to the town center on foot.

Great area for a weekend or just to break a long drive over the mountains. Will definitely go back. Lovely thoughtful details, chairs and a rug by the waterside, a rowing boat to borrow, a sauna for after your swim in the glacialmelt water. Interesting hamlet with lots of buildings being restored.

We visited in very early April which were winter conditions for us and gave us opportunity to enjoy the sauna followed by jumping in the lake for cold dip! The town of Styrn is an easy drive to that has everything you need, grocery store and restaurants. We only stayed one night while we were traveling on through Norway but would love to return to enjoy longer. We had the 3 bedroom and it was exceptionally clean with modern decor. Amazing views from every room in the house.

The views from the restaurant are spectacular, and the dinner (as well as the breakfast) was outstanding. We enjoyed a beautiful walk along the lake to a very scenic waterfall. Although we were accommodated in the separate building which is not a five star hotel it was still a very comfortable room, clean, well equipped, just a great one. The breakfast is really reach and well served. The dining room with a real incredible view. This is surely not a place for everyone but if you want to relax fare away from loud world within a thrilling scenery just go there. There is a car charger available.AdamPoland

The chalet itself, and particular the location at the lake across huge glacier-topped mountains, are simply the nicest you can wish for when staying on Norway. The apartment is large, very clean, with a complete and new interior. Close by are hiking trails to the Glomnes fossen, and as said the location at the lake is magnificent.

There were no nearby restaurants open during this time of year (10th September), so we went to the supermarket to buy some groceries to cook dinner. The kitchen is very complete to cook a decent meal, everything is there incl. salt, pepper and oil. Lovely modern and squeaky clean bathroom. Comfy bed and a large sofa to relax and watch TV. Hjelle is scenic little village on the lake, we liked that it wasn't crowded with lots of tourists like Geiranger. We hiked to Segestad Mountine Farm, which was great and we were the only persons on the trail. Clean and quiet, the is also an restaurant with pizza and desert. The cabin was clean, equipped for a quick prepared meal. There is two beds and a couch and another two in a small attic. Very nice! There is a main building with kitchen and laundry.

Quite and distance place. Cabin that we rented was really nice - modern kitchen, nice furniture, good beds. They have there small canteen that works till 10p.m. Really nice!
