Lovely, well equiped cottage in a quiet setting in the mountains. You have a fantastic view of the mountains, definitely from the deck, which has multiple chairs and two small tables, so you can eat outside.
About half an hour drive from Flam and Kaupanger, as well as from Vossevangen.

We had planned a 5 day trip by staying in Myrkdalen and exploring Flåm and around. We did drive everyday which was a bit hectic. One or two extra days with relaxing and hiking locally would have been better.

Our linked bedrooms had beautiful views over the ski slopes. Breakfast was good quality buffet style with lots available; the free coffee in reception area was a bonus. There are lockers available off the main reception to put skis in, ask reception for a key. The pizzas in the upstairs restaurant are a must !
