One of the best places i ever stayed in. I miscalculated my driving time, so i was supposed to arrive at 1 a.m. The owner and i found a solution, so i was able to check-in even later, at 2 a.m.
Nice family-style hotel, comfy beds, everything looks new, very clean, authentic, stunning vies from windows. Perharps the nicest breakfast i ever had (see photo). Close to famous Geiranger, also it is situated at the entrance of the national nature park.

We have been to quite a few cabins by now, but this was my favorite. The cabin has a warm, peacefull and simpleness sensation. It eas unlike anything I have never seen. We loved it!

My plan was to use it as a base before venturing into and departing from a ski tour in the mountains. Having said that, I imagine it would be an attractive place to stay if you plan to embark on daily excursions or just relaxing enjoying the scenery. Also, ideal for independent, self sufficient travellers.
