My husband and I found the Walaker (and the village of Solvorn) to be a really special place. We had perfect weather for swimming at the beach, hiking up Molden for fjord views, and enjoying a glass of champagne in the hotel garden. Staff and food were excellent. The historic room had tons of charm. We only stayed one night but I could see spending a week to enjoy daily hikes, afternoon swims, and relaxing with a good book -- it's such a lovely, restful place!

The shower in the barn was so nice. Our cabin had a wet bath but we were only staying 1 night so use the communal showers. The view of the lake was very pretty. Norway is so expensive so these cabins are a great way to make Norway affordable
