The hotel feels so clean and has an air of relaxation about it. The family showed great hospitality, made delicious food, and we were even lucky to be invited to a dinner party with their friends and family.
It was delightful to meet their elder son Sagar, who was also extremely hospitable, was a very interesting partner for conversation, speaks great English, and answered many of our questions and explained many things about Nepal that nobody else was able to explain to us on this trip.

I stayed at Aashish/Suzu/Aama's place for over a month. It's now already weeks ago since I had to leave, but I still have to think about that place a lot. I can only share good memories. The incredible kindness, the great food, the deep talks as well as joking around will stay in my head forever. I can only recommend the place.

The overall vibe of the place was very peaceful. The room was very cozy. The staff was very polite and helpful. The services were prompt. It made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The front desk staff were very courteous, readily helpful and always smiling. The property was aptly located where we could escape the hustle of the adjoining market yet still being in the epicentre .

Brilliant. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our room was huge and very comfortable for my teenage son and I (plenty of space for us not to be in each others way). Location was perfect.

Kirtipur is a town outside of the city, about 5km away so costs about 500 rupees to taxi to the city during the day. At night the cost can vary between 700-900 rupees.
The town is a local town so you see very real Nepalese life. Local shops only but it has a range of temples and you can travel to Patan, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur very easily in a local taxi or motorbike.
As it is outside of the city, it is very cheap to eat and drink. Here you will see very real local life, market selling on the roads by night and children heading to school in the days.
Taxis are available all the time.
You have a mountain range view from the town and the sunsets are very pretty over the local mountain range.

I liked to stay in Kirtipur because it was close to the city, but much more calm, less polluted and more enjoyable to walk around, because we could see green areas and beautiful landscapes.
There are places that we must visit: Sasa Restaurant to try good newari food and listen live music and Eliz cafe to taste delicious banana loaf or cinnamon roll.
It is easy to walk around kirtipur and you can visit some temples, stupa, suspension bridge and the university by walking.
