Service, staff, rooms, view, Spa facilities, restaurant & bar, round the clock service was all Very Good. The property despite its terrain has been designed in a very user friendly way. Suggest you go in a group of at least 4-6 persons. or it can get boring. Not much to do around except trekking trails and long walks and yoga in the park. One can visit the city of Kathmandu and Pashupatinath temple. But if you are alone or a couple it can get a little lonesome. Excelent venue to get away from the madding crowd.

It is probably the most overrated place near Kathmandu.
It is probably the most overrated place near Kathmandu. The food prices are crazy expensive (it's not due the remote location as the restaurant owners will claim as a few decently priced restaurants are also available). The road is completely horrible around the Nagarkot main market. There is no petrol pump (gas station) and the place in general lacks any character.GauravNepal - 8.0Scored 8.0
The hike around the hills were easy and scenic.
The hike around the hills were easy and scenic. Just use GPS on the phone. Food is easily available. For the adventurous taking the bus to Bakhtapor is definitely a must, we had a careful driver and enjoyed it.

Rooms we stayed had all the facilities like hot water, AC etc. Hotel is situated on a hilltop away from the hustle bustle, hence preferred ordering food in-house, which was excellent! Short walk from the main room, road is not in great condition for last 100 metres, but not a major issue! Staff is really nice and even prepared bonfires for us!

The compound is a peace of heaven and very well maintained. I loved the little details in my room (which was huge) like extra blankets, a thermos or a candle. The food I had for dinner was really nice. Breakfast was standard. I personally loved the location but if you want to be close to Nagarkot’s center be aware that it’s a bit of a walk.

The host family is friendly and welcoming, the food is cheap and delicious, everything is fresh and come from the garden. The place is quiet and I wish I could have stayed longer because this is the perfect place to be for settling a bit after weeks of backpacking... Thank you for everything!
