Really friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable.
It's a nice historical and religious place. Very charming archeological sites, many modern nicely crafted temples and a very peaceful pleasant place for relaxation and meditation. I loved the place very much.

The place is crawling with poor street kids begging for food. All the money for a school and other needs have been wasted on some long and pointless brick walkway to the Maya Devi Temple and beyond. It's just another one of those misguided UNESCO projects typical of Western NGO thinking. The heat and lack of water is turning Lumbini into a scorched landscape of poverty and social misery. Its all about trying to turn the birth-site of Buddha into a tourist dependent dollar economy. Hopeless.

The temple complex at the birthplace of Buddha was really gigantic and definitely worth a visit. There was nothing else to see in the area a and for this reason it is only worthwhile to be there for a few days.

Thank you very much for going.
Thank you very much for going. It wasn't a great place with great scenery, but I'm still grateful to visit a place with history. 100NPR is also good to go by boat. Also it was so easy togetting around with auto(Tok).

The only attraction Lumbini has is the complex with Holy Garden, New village with Peace pagoda and Monastries- very interesting and definitely worth visiting. I missed some extra information about architecture, why the canal was built etc. There was a museum which has been closed since Covid-pandemie, but I don't know if the content would have answered my questions. There are no information in the village available.

The Sacred Garden is magnificent, but Lumbini itself is a a small place with little else to do and is now, probably due to pandemic, a town full of construction to buildings and roads and quite a few beggars.
If you visit, stay for max of 2 days and outside of the town. The price of return flights if you are a foreigner means a trip to Lumbini can be an expensive couple of days.
Hotel in lovely grounds and pool lovely. Plenty of sunbeds. Food in restaurant lovely, fixed times (not my ideal) but did serve me just outside of these times. Great vegetarian (muttar paneer-wow!) and vegan food and probably the best Thali I've ever eaten! Room beautiful, liked the seating outside, good to relax with a cup of tea and a book. Organised tuk tuk for me to visit temples, and driver was great, used tuk tuk for 2 days. Location fine, same as most of the Hotels in Lumbini.
Hands down the best hotel in lumbini and surrounds ! excellent food, prime location for mayadevi temple , great services well trained understanding staff, General manager managing all facilities that we needed "hands on" .we enjoy our stay and especially my family love the environment .we feel like our second home.well clean, pleasant room and bathroom. And individual A/C room.
If you want to visit lumbini you can choose Hotel Suramma .
Thank you once again hotel suramma .
The location is good, secluded, silence and serene, moreover the owners are very good willing to hear you out and solve your problems going out of the way. If you are a solo traveller especially female, he will drop you and pick you up from the bus stop.
He will prepare anything you want to eat and its very tasty coz he was a chef for 19 yrs in Dubai.
I had booked for 1 night but I extended my visit for 1 more night coz it was very comfortable and homely.
The hotel is totally perfect. All the facilities are brand-new, it looks like the hotel is just opened for visitors. Three options available to have a meal in here, one with a terrace with a beautiful mountain view. The meals are great too.
The staff is completely friendly and client-oriented, it was a pleasure to stay here.
I thoroughly loved this place. the owner was very sweet and accommodating. the price and location were perfect. I read a few bad reviews before staying; but honestly, if you’ve ever traveled through Nepal and stayed at tea houses; this little hotel is a gem. it’s not super fancy but it feels good, warm, and hospitable.
Friendly and super helpful staff. We felt heartly welcome and had a very pleasant stay. The room was nice, clean, with AC and a comfortable bed. The food was delicious and excellent. Thank you so much, Mr Poudel, Kitchen Master. The hotel has a great location very near Lumbini Sacred Garden.
My room was spacious with ac and two big beds. The hotel was in a quiet place by itself, but still within walking distance from Mayadevi tempel entrance, around 10-15 minutes. The staff was helpful and nice. A very good hotel for the money.
The staff were excellent. After we checked out we did some sightseeing before flying back to Kathmandu in the evening. We got soaked and the hotel let us use a room to change before we headed off to the airport.
Very good value. Wifi worked flawlessly. Air conditioner worked great. Lots of lights, charging plugs. Excellent food. Very near the entrance to the park. Staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.
Good, cheap, clean hotel with a very helpful mgmt. There is no dinner at this place, but dinner on delivery can be ordered. We can recommend the nearby Newa restaurant.
