Beautiful lodge with great facilities. It is quiet and peaceful. My little Pug, Pixel, travelled with me as he had an operation in Hamilton. There are a lot of grassy areas for dogs to get a good run here. The room was very clean and new. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever slept in.
The owners were lovely. They were kind enough to give me a big discount on my second night.
I definitely recommend Podium Lodge.

Quaint little town.
Quaint little town. Where we stayed in the town everything was at our finger tips, ie. easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, takeaways, parks, easy access to the expressway north & south etc. We will come back to Cambridge.

Cambridge is lovely quaint town that has a relaxed "Old English" charm [yes it also has it's own "Queen Street"] that embraces visitors wishing to explore and experience new adventures [especially cycling related - eg river trails, cycling races/tours/champs and the Avantidrome for track cyclists] whilst enjoying a variety of local cafes, eateries, bars and restaurants etc [check out the yummy turkish pitas/wraps at Kebabelicious down town]. It's very easy to navigate and get around a predominantly flat landscape by bike, foot or car. And to get there from Warkworth [just 2.5-3 hr trip now] is even easier now that the new motorway takes you to and through Auckland on to the speedy 110 kph Waikato expressway which then takes you right into the heart of Cambridge from the 2nd exit ramp [next after the Avantidrome one] via a lovely straight road past Amazon's huge spaceship-like distribtution centre - nga mihi nunui [many thanks] Cambridge - see you again real soon !! :-)

Very cute little town.
Very cute little town. Not a lot to do here but we just used it to sleep over for an event in Te Awamutu.
We stayed at the Top 10 Holiday Park which we found to be very tidy and clean for a camp ground. Would highly receommend it.
Our favourite restaurant was Hanoi Boy. The service and food were exceptional.

The room needed to be opened up and aired out before guests arrived it smelt bad when walked in. Some flyspray for the ants would be good... we used a bit of pepper and that seemed to work. The couch and dining chairs were very uncomfortable and need to be upgraded. The bed was hard and lumpy and did not sleep well..There are some birds that may be nesting on ..in..or close to the roof...that were very loud in the morning and woke us up. The TV was small and where placed was hard to watch from the couch.

The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. Nice shop owners.
The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. Nice shop owners. Nice open park areas and interesting shops and exhibitions. Very friendly and helpful staff in the information centre. Good variety of restaurants and food available.
We had a lovely stay of 4 nights. There is plenty to do in the local area, walking by Lake Karapiro, a visit to the Maungatautari sanctuary, biking the Te Awa path, and checking out the shops and cafes in Cambridge. The accommodation is just right - small enough to be warm and cosy and large enough to feel roomy. The hosts were super kind and gave the right balance of space and support. I forgot how nice it was to be in the country - with no street lights, road noise etc. A very restorative place to be.
Beautiful stay - lovely villa, lovely host, gorgeous grounds, very comfortable and well equipped room, and breakfast room, too! I felt very safe, comfortable and happy there - I wish it was a longer stay. Highly recommend, and will absolutely stay again if I need a place to stay in Cambridge. Great to listen to the water fountain outside the window, so peaceful. Loved the range of continental breakfast options, super clean and homely.
While the location was central to so much to do on the north island, the scenery at the house was amazing. The room was comfortable, breakfast was delicious, and the host, Robyn, was friendly, personable, and engaging. She had a great suggestion for dinner in Cambridge which was a delightful city to walk around in. Highly recommend Karapiro Willows for anyone looking at activities around the area.
The room was clean and tidy. Not a "fancy" place but certainly did the trick. We wanted to stay somewhere so we could have a few drinks and not drive! The Hotel is good walking distance from all the bars and restaurants. Easy check in and out. Good parking off street. Would stay here again.
The hotel was in a perfect location, massive rooms and extremely clean. The hotel also went above and beyond to ensure a room was available earlier so that I could make a wedding on time. Would recommend to anyone in this region. The Nespresso was also an extra bonus!
A spacious family room that was close to the centre of Cambridge. It had everything that we needed to overnight in Cambridge. I liked that there was an iron and ironing board so that I could iron a shirt before heading out for dinner and drinks.
Everything. We love this apartment. It has everything you need for a relaxing stay. It's close to Cambridge and in a beautiful location. Super bathroom, very comfortable bed and great to sit and read or watch tv.
Meticulously clean and stylish - perfect for an overnight stay on our way to Auckland that enabled us to catch up with old friends in Cambridge. Host was friendly and welcoming.
Will stay here again. Have stayed here a few times now and always find it very comfortable and very clean, and the staff very helpful. Handy to Cambridge but nice and quiet.
Great place and amazing location. Handy to everything in Cambridge without being in the center of the noise and hustle and bustle. Loved our stay and would highly recommend.
Breakfast, we suggest small pudding bowls plus cereal eg muesli, rather than a muesli bar. Probably cheaper option!
Enough for 3 people. A grass per person would be nice!
