My husband and I loved The Boat House! What a setting in the beautiful little town of Tairua. This is a large spacious guest house, with a balcony with an excellent ocean view. Tastefully, and very nicely furnished with everything we needed. Our only complaint is that we only planned one night to stay in Tairua. We would’ve loved to spend the week there! Our host Bev was so nice, and very accommodating.

The location was absolutely beautiful and the room was clean and spacious! We wish we stayed here longer because we ran out of time to use the kayaks but hopefully we can come again soon for a longer visit!! The staff were also friendly and approachable- had a great experience overall!
