Two lovely bedrooms and two full baths! This living quarters were in such a beautiful home. We wished we stayed longer. The animals on the estate were a treat and super cute to drive by. Very clean, had all the toiletries and kitchen equipment you needed. Very nice owners as well! We would definitely stay here again. It was about a 5-10min drive to the city Center.

Laura was fabulous! her comms pre arrival and while there were great and her hospitality was key reason we chose to stay there. At the time Laura was only 'stay' in that area offering one night accommodation. She was very flexible with our requests. Having full kitchen made huge difference as we were able to drop children to Karapiro for racing - back and prepare meals for the day.

Absolutely loved my stay in the Hobbit Hole! Warm, cozy and very well done, great amenities, it really felt like it was your own little home. Had a wonderful breakfast of fresh homemade bread, eggs and jam. This is a must stay for anyone looking for a little piece of the Shire.

The location was in the amazing rural country, quiet and very close to both Cambridge and Hamilton. It also meant we could safely bike around the country roads and take in all the scenery. The Pool house is very spacious and decorated in a comfy style. The bathroom is super modern with a large perfect shower and also has a new washing machine, dryer, iron if needed. The king size bed was very comfortable and there is a wide screen TV in the lounge with Netflix. The magazines and candles makes a nice home away from home touch. There is a dining table just beside the generous kitchen, which has a full fridge/freezer, bench oven and lots of appliances. Everything was laid out well for easy use, so it would be ideal for staying longer than the 2 days we stayed.

Tauwhare translates to ‘Place of Rest’ which is a perfect description of my stay here. The hosts were friendly and hospitable. They have made their space so cosy and homely which made me feel at ease straight away. It was tidy and clean, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touches (water and chocolate waiting in my room for me). I wish I could have stayed longer to make good use of the backyard space and to explore the neighbourhood. I would come back in a heartbeat!
