Rene's Diverslounge Resort, hotel in Calape

Facing the beachfront, Rene's Diverslounge Resort offers 2-star accommodations in Calape and features a garden, terrace and restaurant. Among the various facilities are a bar and a private beach area....

Amazing cliffside views over the sea, down-to-earth owners, top notch rooms and delicious food. I booked because the prices were far less than Cabilao but had the same access for diving. Unfortunately I had ear problems (from previous dives in Siquijor) which limited me to one day of diving, but I couldn't hope for a better place to recuperate! The owners gave me medicine and also took me to a doctor in Calape for a checkup. The room was very nice and well maintained with a very clean bathroom, hot water and strong AC. The outside premises are extremely scenic with beautiful views of the sunset from the patio and dining room/ bar. The food is excellent, their pizzas are a must. I often had off-the-menu dinners and lunches with the owners' family, and we would chat afterwards over beer. The real highlight is the quiet and solitude - it's only an hour away from Panglao yet feels like another world. In sum, if you want excellent diving, homestyle food, quiet nights and good company, then this is the place for you!

Polaris Beach and Dive Resort Inc, hotel in Calape

Offering an outdoor pool, Polaris Beach and Dove Resort Inc is located in Loon in the Bohol Region, 30 mi from Cebu City. The resort features free WiFi.

Beautiful spot just off the coast of Bohol. Really lovely crew that can help you organize anything, a nice restaurant, great facilities like the pool, bike rental (very good bikes!) and of course diving. The family room was super spacious with 2 floors and 5 beds, great value. They are still constructing some spots due to the typhoon of 2021.

Casas de Ruumar Bed and Breakfast-Two rooms for family available, hotel in Calape

Casas de Ruumar Bed and Breakfast-Two rooms for family available is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Clarin where guests can make the most of its outdoor swimming pool, garden, and barbecue...

We're a couple living in Cebu City and came for a weekend trip to escape the city life. We liked it a lot, the owners, Rudi and Maria, are incredibly hospitable and friendly. They even prepared breakfast at 6 AM on our last day because we had an early ferry back (breakfast is very yummy by the way). We did the island hopping tour organized by relatives of the owners, it was very nice. I can especially recommend visiting some of the inhabited small islands nearby, such a different world and simple life there. We'll come again if we need another escape from the city. 😊

The pool was great, the place was run down to some degree, the foot bridge at reception has a rotting timber section in the footings, making for carful stepping. the rooms needed maintenance. The restaurant was not good, management has cut staff to a bare minimum, resulting in cold food and extra long waiting times. I would not recommend this resort to any one until the lady owners start to care for the place and make as it was when the male owner was managing the place…sad to see such a nice place run down like it is,….enough said…
