Loved everything about Lanas Beach Resort. It's the perfect place to unplug from the stresses of life. You're face to face with unspoiled nature and the staff of locals with megawatt smiles. Well manicured lawn that simply pleasing to the eye - like waking up from a great dream to another great dream... we didnt take pictures of the room because we just came in and crashed down to sleep on firm comfy beds... the aircon cool just knocked us out to sleep like babies... we were on the second floor villa facing the ocean with a balcony (it was that special)... cyrstal clear ocean waters, star filled nights - can't ask for more, except to be able to stay longer.....I will definitely stay here again. Wonderful! We booked 1 night in this really cool beach bungalow and it was so good that we extended our stay for 3 days (and got a good discount). It was right on the beach and felt like we were on our very own desert island, waking up to the sound of the waves and taking a swim in the fantastically clear warm water before breakfast. We didn’t see any tourists at all on the beach, just some locals taking a walk and kids playing in the water, it was surreal after staying in Boracay with all the crowds and noise! The staff gave us snorkeling stuff for free and David the owner led us out to see the incredible variety of coral, which started just a short distance from the beach and though we saw many varieties of fish, it seems that there were many more before the pandemic, but the locals have decimated the stock as there was no work for them. But the starfish were prolific, we counted 10 different colors including some really bright blue ones, but be careful of the sea urchins, they’re only on the coral, so don’t swim over the coral at low tide. Ely took us for an island tour in this amazing 6 seater off road UTV, it could go anywhere and we took off road tracks to cliff jumps, deserted beaches and caves, this is a must, which you would never find if you hired motorcycles. Now the restaurant on this fantastic balcony (or you can eat at the beach bar). The food my god was soo good, Malou and the other staff were such good cooks, with both local and foreign dishes, don’t miss the yummy spicy spareribs, the stuffed baby squid, the curry, the adobo and of course the seafood; simply delicious! We wanted to stay longer and wished we had come here first and not bothered with Boracay, so sad to leave and will defiantly be back and skip the Boracay stay!

For the most part we liked everything about Belmont, friendly staff , to the private beach to the hotel grounds itself.

The video will be uploaded to my YT Monica's Epitome of Joy. I like everything about it. Airbnb has everything you need from cooking to washing clothes. Commuting to the main Bora is easy as well. The owner is kind. Wifi is reliable. The view was stunning. The bed is so comfy that i can sleep all day.
