The Filipino staff were nice people, Biboy and a couple of ladies cleaning the place. The owner (maybe Korean) isn't welcoming. He looked unhappy with life.

The grounds were exceptionally taken care of and so relaxing, either in the morning on the beach, or in the late afternoon sitting in or around the beautiful pool.
The staff was especially helpful and accommodating.
The layout of the buildings with all rooms having excellent views of both the ocean and pool area. I also loved the grass covering the complete area, so there was very little beach sand that got into the rooms.
The beach was very white and clean and great to walk on. The only exception is when the tide goes out then there is some sea weed visible.
The rooms are very spacious and clean.

Nothing, it’s awful place, no WiFi in villas, bad air conditioning, dirty, we spent only one night (we booked 2 villas) and left it, but booked for 3 nights, and they didn’t suggest partly refund, and staff even didn’t answer, I asked do something with WiFi, but the just ignore me (I texted in booking app).

I just want to mention that the resort like other resorts in the area was badly damaged by Supertyphoon, local name Odette and have not recovered yet. Much damage still. Noticed other small resorts totally gone. Only some concrete piling left. It will take some time to rebuild the area but our stay at Tara was ok.

Nothing that was advertised was available. The diving board is half sinking and wouldn’t recommend stepping on it without a tetanus shot. All paddle boards and kayaks have holes…you will sink. Do not eat there, you will be sorry. The highlight was the hot water, but make sure you bring your own cleaning products because the toilet leaks straight onto the ground of the shower.

Its a very undeveloped island, its the raw philippines, but this is the true Philippines, Socorro, WILL be very popular in the future, the island has as much potential as Siargao!
Beautiful beaches, & especially marvellous for Island hopping,
My favourite was Daku
PS .If you ever get chance to go to Ayoke, GO!
