Cedynia has an amazing Kloster restaurant where you can eat like a king, rare specialties that you can't find elsewhere, all fresh from local sources. There is a surprisingly good pizzeria for faster meal options, as well as large supermarket, car wash, and all the other facilities. The town had a lot more to offer than I expected, with a museum and depictions of a battle from 972 in mosaic on the sides of buildings, plus a fountain with vikings. It was very picturesque, set on the side of a hill, overlooking the area. There was also a small tower to climb (free) and take in views from, and an ancient Jewish cemetery, close to the actual cemetery of the town, which was interesting. We ate at the Pizzeria, which had great food for very little. The entire town was inexpensive. And nearby there was a lake to visit at Moryn, which was beautiful. I would definitely visit again.
