I loved the place, the atmosphere and the host. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. She offered extra bedding and towels when needed, without extra costs. She tried to solve all our requests and she was just nice to chat with. I loved our stay there and would recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a time with their family away from very busy touristic places like Ruciane-Nida, while at a reasonable distance to those places. The walk to the nearest beach with possibility to rent canoes and water bikes, takes only 9 minutes, the beach is at a camping and open to outside tourists from 08:00 to 20:00.

Location is very nice in city center, near the river. Restaurant has outdoor tables with nice view, tasty food. Room clean and nice. Comfortable beds. No outside hotel noise (like streets, railroad). Interesting mini-park in the parking lot. Terrace/balcony (not individual for the room though).

Leśniczówka Szeroki Bór is a perfect place to relax in a remote region. You can do hiking, swimming, discover the area by a boat or just relax. The next cosy city (Pisz) is also not to far from the accommodation. The owners of the place are super nice and supportive! We have brought too less time for a proper tour through the region but this place is definitely on our list for further voyages.
