Wow, what a gem of a hotel. This is a truly spectacular property that exceeded even our high expectations. The staff and service were fantastic and the place gives you an immediate sense of calm. The surroundings are absolutely stunning. What we also appreciated was that the food, drinks and activities were not overpriced, so you left feeling like you were not taken advantage of, which can be the case for a lot of high end hotels. The food was delicious and in beautiful settings.

Beautiful country house with a gorgeous garden and view of Monsaraz castle from the pool. The room was big and extremely clean, the water pressure in the shower was top notch and D. Márcia was super nice and welcoming. For breakfast fans, breakfast was very good and complete, with homemade cakes, bread and cereal options, fruit, boiled eggs (plus scrambled eggs and bacon upon request), yoghurt, etc.

Authentic Portugese style accommodation, nice place outside (lots of green and cosey) to have breakfast and a nice swimming pool, very good breakfast. Staff was very friendly! Close to Monsaraz and lake Algueva and dark sky tourism.

Everything. The house is small, but very comfortable. You have everything you need. And the roof terrace is a big plus. The view from there is beautiful. It’s rural, nice and quiet, but big supermarkets are within a 5 minute drive. And there are wonderful places to visit, Évora, Monsaraz, Lake Alqueva. Absolutely recommended.
