We very much enjoyed our (too-short) stay in Casa do Ti Massias. It was comfortable and very clean, and the welcome we received was lovely. It's located inside the fortress walls of a town (and region) with an interesting history, with walking paths and Vilar Formoso's amazing Frontier of Peace (Aristides de Sousa Mendes) Museum not far away. We highly recommend it.

It was our overnight stop during a long travel.
Location: A medieval village (XII century) located about 30km off the motorway. Definitely worth to divert, even for an overnight stop. A quiet charming place

Room: Large and comfortable, wooden floor and furniture. A veranda with table is a good place to sit at night.
