This was the best experience I have had with accommodations during my month of travel. The staff were extremely helpful, the facilities were amazing, the room was luxurious and the location, perfect. I highly recommend Dona Maria. Also, get the breakfast, it's worth it!

I love this hotel! The staff is friendly. If you are ever there, book a massage with Sarah! She's phenomenal. There is another masseuse who I am sure is equally great, but I usually have my massage in the evening. As always, I thoroughly enjoyed breakfast. I take a book and relax while I eat way too much! I even won some money at the casino next door!

Quiet, traditional fishing village. Tiny, narrow lanes, means that it is almost traffic free. The main attraction has to be the endless white sandy beach and the traditional sardine fishermen who launch their wooden boats from the beach and sell their catch to the locals and tourists. If you're interested in nature it's nice to watch the sea birds on the beach, particularly when the fishermen bring in their nets. The sunsets over the beach were also spectacular as were the dark starlit nights. Very peaceful and idyllic situation.
