The location was very convenient for a Camino walker. The room and entire place felt like I was staying in a historic home/museum. It was very spacious and comfortable.
Very close to Entroncamento railway station; just a minutes walk between the two. Large, clean basic rooms. Good view of the railway - great if your visiting Entroncamento as a railway enthusiast. Just a three minute walk from the Portuguese National Railway museum which is well worth a visit with its huge and varied collection. Within the hotel there are some interesting exhibits including a bubble car, old scooter and London telephone box. Rather fun! Hotel is close to a few basic places to eat.
Was heading to Lisbon on the trains. Decided to stop here as the trains swap over in the town. Not much happening in town but if you’re travelling from Madrid like I was it’s definitely worth a stopover. Nice clean and comfy hotel, value for money is great. Definitely beat getting to Lisbon tired and paying the same price for a worse place to stay. And they served cake for breakfast.
Hotel checked all my major boxes: cool, quiet room for sleep. Convenient private parking a few steps from hotel. Train station 5 minutes walk across the square. Town is a train hub. Great alternative to driving into Lisbon. Modest, but adequate breakfast. Not a lot of frills, but very functional, clean, up-to-date. Food options nearby. Well designed and operated small town hotel.
Small comfortable hotel in a quiet location, Everything was very clean, Reasonable breakfast. About eight minutes walk from Entroncamento Railway station and five minutes from the excellent Portuguese National Railway Museum. This is well worth a visit irrespective of whether you are interested in trains or not. Easy free parking in the streets surrounding the hotel.
I like the fact that the hotel is just across the 🚆 🚉 Station.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Breakfast is basic, and yet good 👍.
Yummy buffet near the 🏨 ,but only one open weekend.
Not much to do in the town, good for a peacefull break . 😊
The room is spacious and clean. Beds are big and rather comfortable. There are a lot of parking spaces on the streets surrounding the hotel. It's a nice localisation to visit a lot of cool places in Portugal.
Don't expect the height of luxury, but for the price we love the Gameiro. Clean, friendly and a great location opposite the train station at Entroncamento. Our second stay and we will return.
I loved the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. Everything was spotless. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The breakfast was also fantastic.
Hotel in front of station. Breakfast was good, included yoghourt. Room and bathroom were clean. They kept our luggage after checking out untill the train left.
