This was such a lovely property in the country near Paços de Ferreira. The hostess, Paula, was wonderful and accomodating. She personally greeted us and showed us to our room. She also recommended a great local restaurant for us to have dinner. Our room and bed were very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious. We enjoyed hearing from Paula about the history of the property and her family. For the price we paid, the stay was an incredible value. We would definitely highly recommend this property.

If we could give this place more than ten stars, we would. José, the guesthouse owner, went out of his way to make us comfortable, including bringing us into town to a recommended place for dinner and more. The guesthouse is located in a beautiful part of Portugal, and the guesthouse itself is exceptional. Everything we needed was there - hot showers, spacious interior, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, well thought through interior, and availability of a pool with waterfall feature and outside seating to take in the sunsets.
