The hosts are a family who were ready to help with any need and I was greeted personally at the front gate after ringing the doorbell. They offered a home cooked breakfast each day and were extremely patient with my poorly spoken portugese (I knew little). They moved their own cars so that we had our own private parking inside their gated area. The room had a double and a twin bed which were comfortable and an attached bathroom- exceptional attention to detail regarding cleaning, stocking of the room and bathroom, and dressing of the beds. Beautiful balcony available although it rained nearly constantly. Common area with games for relaxing including a small refrigerator and items for purchase.

Quiet location with very clever steampunk decorations. Breakfast was excellent local fare. We stayed here while hiking the Caminho Portuguese and it is a nice change from albergues.
Greatly appreciated them providing us with bread, meat, cheese and wine so we didn’t have to walk back to town for dinner.
If you stay here be sure to pet their very cute dog, Laika.

Everything was really clean, the lady who hosted us was so sweet and careful, there was butter, fruits, water and coffee capsules in the house, she even told us that the firepit was available to use and that we had more wood to use on the outside. Great experience.
