Amazing hotel!!! Very quiet, impeccable, clean property, linens and room smelled divine. We had very late check in but staff was so accommodating, smiling and respectful. I was observing some staff members from a side and they are flying around the property, everything on a timely manner. Breakfast was so delicious, they are making their own butter and jam from a local produce, freshly squeezed orange juice, delicious pastry. When we ordered an omelet, I heard it being whisked in a few minutes how fresh it was! Haven’t had a chance to try the sauna and spa but heard it is very good as well
Hotel is relaxing, has 2 pools: indoor and outdoor, facing the ocean, birds are chirping, seagulls around you and cows mooing in a distance (no cow smell, don’t worry!). They have free parking, so you can drive around the island and relax at the end of the day at this beautiful hotel. Not far from airport.
Highly recommended!

We have stayed at hundreds of resorts, hotels, villas, Airbnbs, etc. and this was hands down the most exceptional, beautiful and perfect place we have ever stayed! It was clean, cozy, picturesque and right out of a fairy tale. We will be back! Thank you SO MUCH! This was the morning of our engagement too :)

Fabulous place. They offered us bikes and kayaks and had a trampoline in the garden. The house is beautiful and they left us a food basket. We highly recommend it!

An amazing, recently renovated place hosted by incredibly friendly and helpful host. She met us at the door, and walked us through extras like terrace, a separate kitchen house, etc. Breakfast elements were provided (jams, cereal milk etc) and it was delicious! Thanks.

A charming town in a beautiful location between the ocean and the steep mountains. On the western end of the island, it often has superlative sunsets. The town itself is small but has a welcoming central plaza, with several good restaurants nearby. The main beach is very accessible and very attractive. There is also a pleasant road to walk along the waterfront that runs from one end of town to the other, with small food stands open during the good weather.

The beach is one of the best in Sao Miguel with a beautiful sunset. Also it is possible to experience nice food in "O Americo". It is the most calm part of the Island and not far from Sao Miguel. We will choose to stay here when we will return and this is for sure!

The views, the peace and quiet and the lovely locals are all worth a visit. It really is a corner of paradise. There’s not too much going on, so stay where you can cook/chill out, preferably with views to the sea. The beach is small but very clean - beware of Portuguese man of war! One day, after stormy weather, the beach was covered in them. Great to look at but I would not wish a sting on anyone. I would highly recommend having car hire as you are so far, far away from the hum drum. It’s lovely.
