Everything! It’s a fabulous mountain retreat. Surprisingly luxurious! Close to 516 Arouca suspension bridge entrance, comfortable and modern. Walk the lovely grounds and well-appointed lounge and bar area and don’t miss the beautiful sunset view. Excellent room with gorgeous view and lux monogrammed towels. Super friendly and gracious staff. Delicious breakfast. Special thank you to Angela and Sandra for making our stay so amazing. They are wonderful! We will definitely return and very highly recommend!

Easy to find, friendly greeting upon arrival by Nuno. Check in was easy, clean room, ac worked great, water pressure in shower great, nice breakfast included. Nuno also was extremely helpful in explaining directions and parking for local sites….. 516 Arouca Suspension Bridge was especially helpful. Nuno was outstanding, as was all the staff we encountered.

The location was perfect for us. We were able to explore the geopark & the Paiva River, extraordinary area, loved the small village, really able to get away & enjoy the peace & quiet. The first time we have ever slept in a place that has no noise at night. Really amazing!

Apartamento Alegria is a very spacious apartment and we had a pretty good stay. It is centrally located in Arouca. Everything was clean and the fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare your own food. The bed was comfortable and we had a good sleep, which was great after having hiked quite a lot the day prior.
The check in was very easy, we called the host when we arrived and met him in front of the building where the apartment is located. The host was friendly with us and welcomed us with a big smile.
I can definitely recommend Apartamento Alegria especially if you are travelling with a family and you need more space.
