We selected this accommodation site because it was approximately 90 minutes from Lisbon airport. After an overnight flight from Canada and needing rest while heading to southern Portugal, it was both a perfect introduction and respite. Our host was most accommodating, informative and helpful as was his staff person. Excellent breakfasts with fresh oranges (and juice) right from the trees outside. Located close to the town of Ferreira yet away from the main highway, this location was peaceful yet urban services were available if needed including a few good restaurants. This is a rural property which for us was an advantage.

The property was beautiful and the room was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for three adults. The windows/shutters were gorgeous! The manager/staff were polite and helpful. We traveled in January, so we didn’t make use of the outdoor amenities, but would love to return in the future.

Localization was key and the fact of being very close to car park was a bonus. It was quite an experience sleeping in a ex-manor house. Veronica (staff) was extremely welcoming and friendly. The room was tidy and clean as expected. What really surprised us was the size of the room! We've comfortably could get in and out with a baby pram. There is a roof top terrace with great views. Honestly, it is worth the visit.
