Excellent, off-the-beaten-path albergue/hostel. It has everything a pilgrim needs. This was a wonderful surprise in Pinheiro da Bemposta. The host is amazing, the place is fantastic if you’re adventurous; don’t expect extreme luxury, but all you need to relax, wash your clothes and unwind is here. Yes, it’s about a km off of the Santiago official path, but worth every extra step. Not suitable for wheelchairs or if you have a major impairment but if you’re free spirited, like waterfalls (yeah, you can swim) and nature, this is worth staying for a night or a few days.
Located in the vibrant area of Oliveira de Azeméis, this hotel offers air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV. Facilities include a health center with massage services.

It was a bit difficult to find, GPS took us to the wrong location but after writing to Carlos, he waved us in. Property is well taken care of and pretty gardens. The house is very strong and very clean. Common area is comfortable with amazing view. The pool was a nice addition and we had plenty of chairs to relax and swim. Our bathroom was clean and Carlos kindly gave us extra towels for the pool. We did not choose breakfast but he was very kind and gave us coffee which was a nice gift :) His dining area was really pretty and cozy.
