I highly recommend this hotel. The facilities are very nice and the owners were exceptional! Breakfast was very delicious. Later that night we sat on the terrace with wine and enjoyed the beautiful views of the river and surrounding wine country. Tua is a very cute town.

The property is gorgeous, even better than the photos. The exterior is a true highlight, with a functional BBQ area, numerous seating areas, beautiful gardens, cozy hammocks, and areas to lounge by the pool. The interior is spotless, with thought put into every detail. We stayed in the bedroom with the balcony overlooking the vineyards, and it was equipped with everything a guest needs for a comfortable stay. Sara is sooo friendly, gracious, and welcoming— full of great recommendations, travel advice, and fun conversation.

This was best experience ever, modern elegant house with the finest artistic touches. The best hosts one could dream of. Hospitality at it’s best. Fabulous breakfast, and the welcome Porto tonic ever. Too bad I can’t rate it above a 10, it is of the charts. A must stay in the Douro, better than staying in Pinhao. This is really what the heart of the Douro is.

Wow! Exceeded expectations! The location and the accommodations were perfect. The view of the Douro Valley was the best comprehensive view. We were served a private charcuterie and wine tasting on the balcony after sitting by the eternity pool to relax after the long drive up. So worth it! The rooms are beautiful and our host Luís was the best.

This house is amazing. Amazing views. The staff was also amazing and went above and beyond. We didnt have a great plan for dinner and the staff got us food in a nearby town and delivered it back to the house which was awesome. Really unique

We arrived quite late after cycling in the rain all day and Sara was there to greet us and help us. She transformed the whole house into a beautiful place. Very well thought out. The room was spacious, the common areas were very nice, we definitely recommend. Thank you Sara.

Beautiful location overlooking the Douro. Martin the owner is a wealth of information about wine and very friendly and fun to talk to His wines, which we sampled, are excelent High recommendation to not miss this place.
