The surrounding area is very tranquil with olive trees and vineyards. After a day of biking it was great to have a cold beer on the porch. I got to spend a bit of time with the hosts, Maria and Philip. They were really nice and had some good insights into this part of Portugal. They also have a very sweet dog who is initially shy but warmed up after a while. Although the house is out in the country, the location seems centrally located between different areas good to visit (with a car).

This is an amazing place to stay. Easy to find, lots of parking, quiet, the place is clean and beautiful and the pool is fabulous. Maria is so welcoming and knowledgable about the surrounding area.
