Joaquin and Ann-Sophie were exceptional hosts and did everything possible (and more) to make us feel welcome. We had a breakfast feast each morning and Ann-Sophie made a special gluten-free option every time which we really appreciated. Their home is in an amazing location looking straight at Castelo de Sesimbra and is very spacious with a lovely garden and swimming pool. The location is perfect for reaching Sesimbra and the beaches (we managed very easily without a car as the taxis were cheap). We had lovely food in Sesimbra, especially the fish and would highly recommend Casa Calibris.

Location was what we needed close to the local festival. The pool was really lovely, and the water temperature was terrific. The staff even lent us a box with ice so we could keep our beverages and lunch cold during the afternoon.
