Owner was exceptional- suggested a restaurant, drove us there and ensured we could get a taxi back. Also drove us back to our walking route…!!
He went out of his way to ensure our stay was good.

Breakfast was great, staff very accomodating, close to all of the activities and centre, and it was also very close to train station ( for the price location to old town and the train station- all was very easily walkable. Not one cab/uber/bus needed.

Loads of shops selling linen, towels and leather handbags. restaurants a bit pushy but all part of the experience. If staying in the Pousada, hold your breath as you drive through the gateway, very very slowly!

I liked the simplicity of things at the hotel, and I especially enjoyed being able to sit outside on my balcony after my arrival and then again later in the evening.
