The room was spotless, the bed comfortable and the view amazing. Breakfast was included with a good selection and endless coffee. We had a meal in the restaurant which was excellent and great value for money.
The area is picturesque with Geres national park, a 15/20 minute drive away and the Sao Bento Church, 5 minutes drive away. We stayed for 2 nights off season, so it was quiet.
The couple that run the hotel couldn't do enough for us, both spoke English, so my faltering Portuguese was not a problem.
It was my wifes birthday, a cake was provided and they sang happy birthday, which was a lovely touch. This summed the owners up!
There's a carpark outside so it had everything for me. I definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was impeccable. The staff was really friendly and really helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The rooms have an amazing view. You feel peace as you arrive. I need to book the pool but it is a very easy process and very easy to communicate with.

This hotel is amazing value for money. I had a spacious room and bathroom with a balcony that had an incredible view over the valley. The restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner and all were good options. I would highly recommend this hotel.
