The location is amazing. The historical mansion, the interior design, the ammenities being modern with the rustic touch. The staff was very helpful and willing to help, and the breakfast was delicios and all natural.

To start with the good things: the staff was amazing. Everyone was well-spoken, polite, and keen to solve whatever your need or problem was. Not so professional though (at dinner, they were busy making up the breakfast tables, and we just had to stack our used plates and silverware, not one of them bothered to clear our table :)
The view from the room was magnificent, the balcony large enough, fridge, bathrobes, slippers all in good order.
The meals were fun, meaning that they don't really seem to know how chafing dishes work (You need a heat source under them!), no labels, not so many choices...but the food was actually good. As in really good. So, not much complaints there.
I was a bit saddened by the fact that at breakfast they didn't have any black tea, just the foo-foo fruity things - but I got over that.
Set in the center of Baile Tusnad resort town, 984 feet from an Adventure Park, Hotel Tusnad features accommodations with free WiFi in public areas and free private parking.

A bit outside the city, we loved visiting the extinct volcano (super spectacular!) and the fortress was also interesting if you enjoy history. Lacul de smarald (Emerald Lake) is really green and worth visiting.
The Reformed Church in Talisoara was quite welcoming and worth visiting if you speak Hungarian…
Would have enjoyed visiting some of the traditional workmen/artisans as offered, but we came over the Easter holiday so we will have to make another visit. :)
