It was "somebody's countryside home", offered now for renting. Be advised it was not purposely built for renting, so don't expect a hotel like experience. On the other side it's a fantastic occasion to be immersed in a mountain village experience, without trading on comfort and access to modern facilities (asphalt road access, broadband internet, centralised heating, etc). We have spent a few wonderful days in Slănic Prahova two weeks ago. Pensiunea Deceneu offers beautifully designed accommodations, with nice clean rooms, and a very pleasant fenced-in yard. The food was very tasty, prepared on site from fresh locally sourced ingredients, and we were impressed by the owners, who were very friendly and helpful with every request we had. The location is very close to everything we wanted to visit in Slanic. The closed-in private yard is perfect having an outdoor picnic, or just relaxing. Safe parking is also available.
